This is part-time, hourly position (could lead to full-time in the future). Ability to work flexible hours (extended weekday and occasional weekend hours).

Required Education and Experience

•Hospitality or Food Industry background/experience is an asset but not a requirement
•Food Handlers and/or Smart Serve Certificate would be an asset but not a requirement

Position Available: Server / Cook Summary/Objective: Responsible for assisting with the coordination, execution and completion of consumer product testing at our BRAMPTON or NORTH YORK test sites by serving and/or preparing test products. Essential Functions: •Perform duties specific to project execution such as setting up the kitchen and testing areas, serve participants, preparing/cooking products, cleaning, coding etc. •Able to prepare and serve products in an accurate and efficient manner by following food safety standards. •Cleaning the serving and kitchen areas before, during, in between and after sessions. Competencies •Reliability •Flexibility •Strong attention to detail and customer service-oriented •Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time •Confidentiality Work Environment This job operates in a kitchen and testing lab environment. Physical Demands: This role consists of walking and standing for several hours. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
